Local Writing Workshops

SCS is excited to share that we are kicking off a new writing workshop series in our current home city, Birmingham, AL. The workshop is scheduled from 6pm - 8pm Central and hosted by Cha House in Avondale (131 41st St S, Birmingham, AL 35222). Click the image above to visit the Event Page on Facebook.

Tonight's writing workshop kicks off a monthly series with Brent Winzek, award-winning indie author/publisher and resident college writing professor. Focus will be on the psychological benefits of creativity via stream-of-consciousness writing, as well as character-building exercises devised from acting techniques.

If you plan on joining us, please bring your favorite writing utensil and some paper! This will be a "no tech" experience.
